Job summary

Tekscend Photomask, Inc. in Round Rock, Texas is seeking a qualified Cisco Network Engineer to join our enterprise team. The role focuses on maintaining secure, Cisco-powered communications systems and supporting data networks across locations.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise networks, coordinating with vendors, and evaluating cost-effective solutions. Some travel to EU/RAPAC sites is required. Remote work is possible within 50 miles of the site.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in a Cisco-based network environment.
• Experience configuring and managing Cisco ASA firewalls.
• IPSec and SSL VPN tunneling experience.
• Knowledge of NX-OS and vPC technology.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP; basic Layer 2/3 networking.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the company's internal data communications systems (LAN/WAN) and voice networks.
• Plan, design and implement enterprise-wide network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network problems and coordinate with vendors for data services.
• Assist with project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons.
• Travel internationally to Tekscend sites as needed.
