YO AI Labs seeks a Circuit Design Expert for a fully remote, contractor role supporting an AI training project involving real-world circuit design, simulation, verification, and EDA workflows. You will design, analyze, validate, and review circuits while leveraging Python for automation.

The position emphasizes strong circuit design skills, programmatic EDA experience, and the ability to translate requirements into reproducible references. Flexible ~15 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Advanced circuit design and analysis skills for analog/digital/mixed-signal/RF.
• Experience with programmatic EDA tools and hardware validation.
• Ability to explain design trade-offs and debugging results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits.
• Translate requirements into schematics, netlists, HDL, models, and simulations.
• Run simulation, synthesis, and verification workflows via CLI tools.
• Use Python to automate simulations and result analysis.
• Evaluate performance metrics such as gain, bandwidth, noise, timing.
• Diagnose issues related to parasitics, layout, signal integrity, and thermal effects.
• Compare simulations with analytical and hardware measurements.
• Review AI-generated circuit solutions and develop reference implementations.
