Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Circuit Design Expert to support an AI hardware project. You will design, analyze, validate, and review real-world circuit solutions, spanning analog, digital, and RF domains, with emphasis on EDA workflows and Python automation.

You'll translate requirements into schematics, run simulations, verify results, and critique AI-generated circuit solutions. Remote, contractor engagement with flexible ~15 hours/week; start within 24–48 hours of onboarding.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field, or BS + 1–2+ years in circuit design.
• Proven experience designing circuits that were fabricated, shipped, or taped out.
• Strong Python and programmatic EDA/tool experience.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, lab validation, design verification, or post-fabrication debugging.
• Ability to explain circuit behavior, assumptions, and design trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits.
• Translate requirements into schematics, netlists, HDL, models, and inputs.
• Run simulations, synthesis, and verification workflows via CLI/programmatic tools.
• Use Python to automate simulations, sweeps, and result analysis.
• Evaluate voltage, current, power, gain, bandwidth, noise, timing, and stability.
• Diagnose issues in components, parasitics, layouts, signal/power integrity, thermal, and manufacturing.
• Compare simulations with calculations and hardware measurements.
• Review AI-generated circuit solutions and create reproducible references.
