GovCIO is hiring a Chief Solutions Architect to lead technical direction for a major modernization program. The role will drive enterprise architecture standards and guide transition from on-premise systems to AWS, working with government technical leads to align decisions with security and cost objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in a technical field, 8+ years in architecture domains, and AWS SA Professional certification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field; AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in one or more architecture domains (e.g., business architecture, solutions architecture, application architecture)
Responsibilities
- Provide overall technical leadership and architectural governance for the maintenance and modernization program.
- Establish and maintain enterprise architecture standards and guide modernization from on-prem to AWS cloud services.
- Review and approve major architectural decisions and oversee technical risk management.
- Ensure compliance with federal security requirements and EA standards while optimizing performance, scalability, and cost.
