Job summary

The Fair Labor Association seeks a Chief of Staff to coordinate day-to-day operations, align leadership priorities, and manage targeted initiatives. Reporting to the President and CEO, the role focuses on maximizing leadership effectiveness, structuring decisions, and guiding information flow across the executive office and key units.

This Level 6 role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, with travel 4–6 times per year for internal and external events.

• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the President and CEO in day-to-day operations and prioritization of time.
• Foster cross‑team collaboration and executive leadership alignment.
• Plan and coordinate Board of Directors meetings and governance communications.
• Ensure clear communication of decisions and follow-up across the organization.
• Set priorities, workflows, and budget planning for the executive office.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the President and CEO.
