Labelbox is seeking a remote Chemistry Expert contractor to label, organize, and review chemistry content for AI training. The role supports async work from the United States with a flexible, rolling start and a minimum of 15 hours per week.

The ideal candidate brings deep chemistry knowledge from research or teaching, plus experience in creating or critiquing scientific content for AI training and education projects.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in chemistry from research, teaching, or advanced problem-solving.
• Experience building or reviewing complex scientific/educational content.
• Ability to translate chemistry concepts into clear, real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Data annotation: Accurately label and categorize chemistry questions, concepts, diagrams, experiments, and other relevant data.
• Concept mapping: Connect key chemical principles and establish relationships between topics to help AI models understand the subject.
• Solution review: Analyze AI-generated answers to chemistry questions, identify errors, and provide feedback to improve model performance.
• Content development: Help build comprehensive training datasets covering a wide range of chemistry topics and levels.
