YO AI Labs is seeking a Chemistry Expert on a remote contract basis to support AI model improvement through authoritative chemistry explanations. You will review data, craft thorough justifications, and contribute to high-quality training content.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Chemistry or related field, excels in clear technical communication, and can collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting. Experience with AI/data annotation is a plus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry and related scientific field.
• Proven ability to communicate complex chemistry concepts clearly in writing and speaking.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or publishing chemistry materials (articles, curricula, reports, peer reviews).
• Familiarity across organic, inorganic, physical, analytical chemistry and materials science.
• Strong attention to detail and scientific rigor.

Responsibilities

• Produce authoritative, accurate, and well-explained responses to advanced chemistry queries for AI model improvement.
• Review chemistry data, questions, and solutions for accuracy and alignment with best practices.
• Develop comprehensive explanations and justifications across foundational to advanced chemistry topics.
• Collaborate with annotation leads and project managers to refine requirements and ensure high-quality responses.
• Create exemplary golden responses to set benchmarks for model outputs.
