Synthires is seeking a Chemistry Domain Expert to contribute remotely from the United States on an hourly contract. You will evaluate AI outputs in real-world chemistry tasks, develop precise reference solutions, and design research-level benchmarks.

Responsibilities include identifying errors in reaction mechanisms, stoichiometry, and spectral interpretation, and collaborating with researchers to establish clear evaluation criteria. A PhD and US-based work are required.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Senior research experience as a faculty member, PI, staff/senior scientist, or equivalent.
• Specialization in at least one chemistry domain (organic, synthetic, physical, computational, inorganic, materials, analytical chemistry, or chemical biology).
• Hands-on experience using large language models in professional or research work.
• Excellent scientific judgment and written communication skills.
• Based in the United States.
