Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD specialist to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, and write Python checks for the agent's results, contributing to verifiable reference solutions.

The role requires several years of CFD with OpenFOAM or ANSYS, strong verification practices, and comfort with GitHub. AMechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree is expected, with a PhD preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• CFD with OpenFOAM or ANSYS Fluent/CFX experience.
• Solid verification and validation practice with mesh studies.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub, English at B2 level or above.
• Nice to have: turbomachinery, aerospace, offshore or multiphase flow knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level CFD tasks.
• Set up simulations from CAD geometry and run analyses.
• Create verified reference solutions and Python checks for results.
• Collaborate with a remote team and document findings.
