Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD-focused contributor to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid dynamics tasks. You will take CAD geometry, configure simulations, and generate verified reference solutions while writing Python checks to validate results.

The role emphasizes OpenFOAM, ANSYS workflows, and GitHub collaboration. Remote, project-based workload with flexible scheduling and performance-based bonuses available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
• PhD preferred but not required
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM / ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+ including meshing
• Solid verification and validation practice: mesh-independence studies and validation
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub
• English at B2 level or above
• Nice to have: turbomachinery background or offshore experience

Responsibilities
