Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a CFD Engineer for a remote contractor role to tackle advanced CFD problems in fluid flow, aerodynamics, and heat transfer. You will develop meshes, configure solvers, and validate results, delivering clear engineering feedback to stakeholders.

The candidate should have 3+ years of hands-on CFD experience and strong skills in English communication to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on CFD experience.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, Navier-Stokes and turbulence modeling.
• Experience with ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, COMSOL or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate CFD simulations involving fluid flow, aerodynamics, heat transfer and turbulence.
• Work on mesh generation, solver setup, boundary conditions and convergence analysis.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CFD results and provide engineering feedback.
• Apply verification and validation best practices.
