Job summary

EUOLA is seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Meds by Mail program in a remote capacity. Technicians will handle prescription processing, data entry, call-center activities, patient communications, and related administrative tasks using VA systems and government-furnished equipment.

Applicants must live within 50 miles of one of the listed locations and meet VA credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Current PTCB or NHA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Strong computer and data-entry capabilities.
• Ability to navigate pharmacy information systems and document electronically.
• Must complete VA credentialing and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders and perform prescription data entry.
• Review and process external prescriptions.
• Provide pharmacy call center triage and related support.
• Handle pharmacy clerical and administrative tasks.
• Communicate therapy change requests to provider offices.
• Communicate with patients and caregivers on medication use within scope.
• Enter and maintain information in pharmacy information systems.
• Adhere to VA policies, SOPs, and protect patient privacy.
• Complete required VA orientation, training, and competency assessments.
• Maintain required certifications and credentials.
