Jobrapido seeks a Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience for a 100% remote contract position.

The assignment lasts 8 weeks, at 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM), with one weekend day required. W2 pay is $35 per hour. Applicants should have 3–5 years outpatient coding experience and relevant AHIMA/ CCS/ RHIT certifications.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
• Certification CCS, CCP, AHIMA RHIT.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• English proficiency required.
