Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CCS or CPC credential required.
• RHIA or RHIT preferred; experience with ICD-10-CM & CPT-4 evaluation & management coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code ambulatory surgery, ED, outpatient and clinic visit records with ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes.
• Communicate coding requirements with physicians and other providers.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding rules and guidelines.
