ACDIS Pediatric Networking Group is seeking a remote CDI Specialist to collaborate with physicians and care teams to improve documentation quality for DRG assignment and outcomes reporting. The role emphasizes chart review, timely queries, and adherence to AHIMA guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold CCDS or CDIP (or commit to certification within 6 months), with an RN license and at least three years of CDI experience, plus valuable acute care exposure.

Qualifications

• CCDS or CDIP certification required or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Current RN license required.
• Three years CDI experience in healthcare settings.
• Two years or more clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct clinical documentation tasks, meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Adhere to AHIMA and CorroHealth guidelines.
• Perform review on clinical documentation and issue queries when appropriate.
• Review medical records for completeness and accuracy for severity of illness and risk of mortality.
• Accurate and timely record review.
• Analyze findings and identify root causes of errors.
