Job summary

Qualifications

• CCD S/CDI/CDIP certification required or obtainable within 6 months.
• Current RN license is required.
• Minimum three years CDI experience in IP CDI reviews.
• Two years CDI and two years acute care clinical experience preferred.
• Coding credentials CCS or RHIT/RHIA with CDI credential are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical documentation tasks meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Review medical records for completeness and accuracy for severity of illness and risk of mortality.
• Issue queries when appropriate to improve documentation quality.
• Adhere to AHIMA/ACDIS guidelines and CorroHealth policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and coding teams; analyze findings to identify root causes.
