Candidates should have current RN licensure and CDI experience, with certifications such as CCDS/CDEI/CDIP and CCS/RHIT/RHIA preferred. Telecommuting and diverse project work are supported.

Qualifikationen

• CDI certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Current clinical RN license.
• Minimum two years CDI experience.
• Two years or more clinical experience in acute care preferred.
• CCDS/CDEI/CDIP and CDI credentials with IP CDI experience.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and medical records coding staff to improve documentation quality and accuracy.
• Review medical records for clarity, validity of DRG assignment, and documentation completeness.
• Place queries when appropriate following AHIMA guidelines and CorroHealth policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DRG payer issues and clinical documentation requirements.
• Analyze findings to identify root causes of documentation errors.
