ScreenRant, the #1 entertainment website, is seeking experienced contributors for remote, freelance writing. You will produce original articles in ScreenRant's house style, with fact-checking, formatting, and image sourcing as needed.

Ideal candidates have a journalism degree, two-plus years of digital publication experience, and a passion for breaking TV and entertainment coverage across major networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication
• Excellent command of English and strong grammar
• Ability to write high-quality articles with swift turn-around times
• Comfortable working in an entirely virtual environment
• Experience covering TV content on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX networks

Responsibilities

• Write articles per week in ScreenRant's house style, including fact-checking, formatting, linking, and image sourcing/very basic editing.
• CBS expert who can specifically cover FBI, CIA, NCIS franchise, Sheriff/Fire Country, Boston Blue, and Tracker.
• Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
• Accept and apply any/all feedback received by the editorial team
• Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team
