Job summary

Sazerac Company seeks a Sr. Manager, Category Leadership – Convenience & Value to shape shopper and retailer strategies across major national accounts. You will lead a small team, translate data into executive-ready insights, and drive growth across categories.

This remote role requires 30–35% travel and offers a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits within our commercial organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
8+ years in Category Management, Shopper Insights, Commercial Strategy, or related CPG/beverage roles.
Experience supporting Convenience, Value, Grocery, or Large Format retailers.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through insights and recommendations.
Experience leading teams and building capability with measurable results.
Experience with syndicated data sources (NielsenIQ, Circana, Numerator) and retailer data platforms.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint with strong executive storytelling.
Ability to travel 30–35%.

Responsibilities

Lead category strategy across Convenience and Value channels with insights-driven recommendations.
Own national category captaincies, develop category reviews and space recommendations.
Translate data into executive-level stories and drive action.
Partner with Sales and customers to identify growth opportunities and distribution.
Lead and develop a high-performing category team and promote commercial excellence.
