Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Cash Receivable Supervisor for a remote role based nationwide in the United States.

The candidate will lead daily cash posting, reconciliation, and payment processing efforts while ensuring accuracy and policy compliance. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations and possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare cash posting, payment processing, reconciliation, or related revenue cycle operations.
• Minimum of 2 years in supervisory roles overseeing staff, workflows, productivity, and performance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare cash posting processes, including insurance and patient payments, ERA, EOB, and reconciliation procedures.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and other government payer reimbursement methodologies.
• Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes, insurance billing practices, contractual adjustments, and payer adjudication processes.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, train, and develop employees.
• Experience monitoring KPIs, identifying trends, resolving discrepancies, and implementing process improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and patient accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cash posting, payment processing, adjustment posting, and reconciliation activities.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, training, and performance management of cash posting staff.
• Monitor productivity, quality, accuracy, and turnaround times; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely posting of payments, adjustments, denials, and other transactions.
• Oversee reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Review EOBs and RA documents to ensure correct posting.
• Coordinate with insurers, payers, and client reps to resolve issues.
• Identify payer reimbursement trends and provide findings to management.
• Establish SOPs and internal controls to support efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide ongoing training and cross-training to staff.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits to prevent issues.
• Prepare operational reports and KPIs for leadership.
