Job summary

HSI seeks an Accounting Receivable Clerk I (Cash Application) to support centralized cash posting across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. This role emphasizes accurate payment application, currency handling, and reconciliation in a remote setting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in AR with cash posting experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. Sage Intacct experience is a plus; career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable and cash application experience.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency processing.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts and invoices.
• Process cash applications across multiple global entities and currencies.
• Ensure payments are posted to the correct entity, currency, and bank account.
• Post ACH, wire, check, and credit card transactions in the system.
• Reconcile internal credit card transactions and maintain documentation.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and apply exceptions.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records and support audit preparation as needed.
• Support continuous process improvements in cash application.
