Job summary

North Carolina Association of Official Court Reporters seeks a Caseflow Coordinator to support the Caseflow Management Administrator in Mecklenburg County. Responsibilities include scheduling conferences and hearings for Superior Court felony and criminal cases, data entry, and liaison with the public and the bar.

Work hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with remote work options available. Minimum education includes a four-year degree in a human services field and related experience;

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in a human services field and one year of experience in a human services field or the court system
  • An associate’s degree in a human services field plus three years of equivalent experience
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduling conferences for multiple Superior Court felony teams with large caseload volumes
  • Schedule hearings for Superior Court criminal cases
  • Complete administrative and general office tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Timely perform required data entry of case events
  • Assist with the tracking of cases outside of the courtroom
  • Serve as back-up to other Caseflow Coordinators in criminal and civil matters
  • Schedule hearings in other case types, when requested
  • Respond to scheduling and general, court-related inquiries
  • Serve as a liaison to the public, local bar, and other court officials
  • Compile data and produce statistical reports
  • Any special project work as assigned

Education

Bachelor's degree in a human services field such as psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, or criminal justice
one (1) year of experience in a human services field or the court system
associate’s degree in a human services field plus three (3) years of equivalent experience
equivalent combination of training and experience
