Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Executive Case Manager for a fully remote contract position based out of Houston, TX. You will educate patients and providers on benefits, advise on payor processes, and ensure compliant communications in the access journey.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (or higher) and 2+ years in healthcare access or related fields; certifications like PACS, CHES, or CCM are a plus. You will handle inquiries, triage cases, and support patient education.

Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor's degree (or higher) required.
• A degree in healthcare administration, social science or similar related fields is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Builds trusted relationships with patients, prescribers, and client stakeholders regarding reimbursement inquiries and challenges.
• Manages relationships in compliance with HIPAA, insurance guidelines, and program procedures.
• Supports inbound and outbound calls to patients, caregivers, pharmacies, and HCPs in a call center setup.
• Performs post Benefits Investigation calls to explain coverage options and next steps.
• Manages client and HCP inquiries per business rules.
• Triage patients to internal or external resources as appropriate.
• Provide personalized case management to patients and HCPs, including outbound communications.
