Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Case Management Associate as a US telecommuter in a full-time role. You access and assign workers' compensation, disability and liability cases, supporting medical staff in a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of administrative experience, customer service in a medical setting, and workers' compensation processing exposure is a plus. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of administrative experience required.
• Customer service experience in a medical field preferred.
• Workers' compensation, disability and/or liability claims processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accesses and assigns cases for medical case management and utilization review.
• Triages calls between utilization review, clinical consultation and telephonic case managers.
• Enters new claims data into the claims management system with accuracy.
• Supports clinical staff in case management and utilization review processes.
• Schedules diagnostic tests and physician appointments.
• Directs injured workers, employers and claims examiners to PPO networks.
• Gathers statistics and generates required reports.
• Ensures fax forms and filings are received by regulatory agencies.
