Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of college preferred.
• One year of administrative experience required.
• Customer service in a medical field preferred.
• Workers' compensation, disability and/or liability claims processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accesses and assigns cases for medical case management, utilization review and clinical consultation.
• Triage telephone calls between utilization review, clinical consultation and telephonic case managers.
• Enter new claims data into the claims management system accurately; maintain data integrity.
• Support clinical staff through case management and utilization review components.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and physician appointments as assigned.
• Provide channeling services for injured workers, employers and claims examiners to PPO network.
• Gather statistics for record keeping and provide reports as required.
• Ensure fax forms and filings are received and distribute, fax, mail and copy incoming/outgoing correspondence.
