employU is expanding its Connects program to deliver vocational rehabilitation counseling for individuals with disabilities, offering both virtual and in-person services in the designated Florida service area.

The Career Counselor will conduct intake interviews, develop individualized IPE plans, coordinate referrals, and track progress and outcomes. Contractors provide compensation per deliverable and hourly work for case management, with flexible scheduling and hybrid/field engagement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Experience in vocational rehabilitation or disability employment services is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform intake interviews (virtual or in-person) to collect employment history, strengths, barriers, and interests.
• Develop a person-centered Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) with goals and needed supports.
• Coordinate referrals for employment services, training, and benefits counseling.
• Review monthly progress notes and ensure alignment with the IPE and outcomes.
• Complete intake, IPE, and related documentation within established timelines.
• Maintain confidential participant records and collaborate with coordinators and providers.
