Job summary

Rhythm is seeking a Remote Device Clinician to monitor patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices using Rhythm’s software. The role applies electrophysiology and biomedical engineering knowledge to assess device function, analyze diagnostics, and document findings per best practices.

Required are degrees (or related field experience), 2+ years of implanted CIED management, 3+ years of cardiology experience, and certifications such as CRAT, CCT, RCES or IBHRE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree required OR related field experience.
• Cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years implanted cardiac device management experience with knowledge of all manufacturer programmers.
• 3+ years cardiology experience; electrophysiology preferred.
• Experience interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics for all four major manufacturers.
• Industry certifications (CRAT, CCT, RCES, IBHRE) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate knowledge base from physiology, pathophysiology, and cardiac device function to perform evaluations, reviews, and analyses via remote monitoring.
• Recognize abnormal device functions and recommend strategies to address issues.
• Communicate with Rhythm clinical team and providers regarding device function and data through accurate documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA/PHI standards/protocols.
• Support Rhythm's patient-centered care philosophy: every team member is a caregiver.
