Job summary

RhythmScience Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Device Specialist to remotely monitor patients with cardiac implantable devices using our software. You will analyze device performance, detect abnormalities, and maintain thorough clinical documentation to support patient care.

In this remote role, you will review diagnostics from major CIED manufacturers, communicate findings to clinicians, educate patients as needed, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree required (nursing, medicine, electronics, or engineering preferred).
• 2+ years of recent experience in cardiac device management.
• Cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experience.
• Experience interpreting diagnostics from all four major CIED manufacturers.
• Proficiency with collaboration applications (Microsoft Office, Teams, Slack).

Responsibilities

• Perform remote evaluations and diagnostic reviews of cardiac device function.
• Interpret CIED diagnostics from Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik.
• Identify abnormal device functions and recommend corrective actions.
• Document findings with precision per best practice standards.
• Communicate device findings to clinicians with clear documentation.
• Educate patients on device function and remote monitoring.
• Coordinate remote monitoring protocols per clinical guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA and PHI confidentiality; ensure regulatory compliance.
