Job summary

Kaya by Chemin Sdn Bhd seeks fluent Cantonese speakers with English proficiency for a short-term, remote transcription project involving Cantonese-English audio with healthcare terminology.

Responsibilities include accurate transcription, speaker labeling, and adding basic annotations, with QC checks and flexible hours. Applicants from Hong Kong and Malaysia are welcome; project lasts about 2 months with a daily task target.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Cantonese and able to write Traditional Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Cantonese-English audio clips and transcribe them accurately.
• Segment audio into natural speech units
• Identify and label speakers when multiple voices are present
• Add simple annotations (gender, age group, emotion)
• Review and validate transcription quality through QC tasks
• Follow project guidelines to maintain high-quality outputs
• Communicate with Project Manager for clarifications
• Complete assigned tasks within project timeline
