Job summary

NMS is seeking a Remote Janitor to maintain cleanliness across remote industrial housing facilities, food service areas, offices, and related spaces. The role requires adherence to company policies, safety standards, and efficient cleaning procedures while supporting camp operations.

The position emphasizes teamwork, ability to stand for long shifts, and flexibility to travel to remote locations. A valid GED and prior cleaning experience are preferred, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience with commercial cleaning equipment.
• 1+ year experience in commercial housekeeping.
• Must pass pre-employment tests including drug test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Clean, vacuum, mop and restock hallways, offices, kitchens, laundry rooms, and restrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment and apply appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Remove trash and dispose properly; transport to disposal areas.
• Assist in safety programs and follow sanitation standards.
• Notify supervisor if safety concerns arise.
