Job summary
Ensitech is hiring a Calypso/Java Developer to join a 100% remote, globally distributed team. The role centers on designing and delivering Calypso-based solutions for financial software, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining thorough documentation in Confluence.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Java experience, hands-on Calypso exposure, and familiarity with CI/CD, Jira/Confluence, and Agile practices, with strong communication in English.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Java software development experience.
- 6 months hands-on experience with the Calypso platform.
- Experience with financial software development and customization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Git/Bitbucket.
- Good understanding of Windows & UNIX environments.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Conversational English level.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Calypso solutions based on business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Document technical work in Confluence and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure test coverage and system quality.
- Develop unit and regression tests for new functionalities.
- Participate in technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
