Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a CAD Technician II in Alpharetta or Suwanee, GA to support engineers and planners. You will translate notes and sketches into documented CAD drawings, draft construction documents, and help maintain project CAD files.

The role requires independent work with guidance from senior staff and a focus on accuracy and timely deliverables. You will collaborate with design teams, learn from seasoned professionals, and contribute to project success while upholding Bowman’s

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
3+ years of experience using CAD standards, preferably in land development.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
Experience with Microsoft Office or similar applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

Draft plans/mark-ups for construction documents.
Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
Revise plans according to client, manager, or reviewer comments.
Assist in organizing and maintaining CAD files for clients, town, or county intake.
Delegate responsibilities for submitting plans on time.
Obtain work assignments from project manager with allocated budgets.
Perform non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions.
