Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Drafting/CAD Technician for a client — this position is 100% REMOTE. pay rate $23/hr on a W2 contract for 3 months, with potential extension based on project needs. The role focuses on drawing management and equipment design across manufacturing facilities.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to develop and manage technical drawings, support cost reduction, and help resolve equipment issues using SolidWorks and related CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or certification required.
• Any experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee drawing management, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of drawings.
• Support daily operations and improvement projects using technical design skills.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Operations to design equipment and drawings.
• Interface with teams to design equipment for manufacturing and provide troubleshooting with technical drawings.
