Job summary

Prolific is seeking an Engineering Design and Simulation consultant (CAD & Simulation) in aerospace, mechanical & electrical engineering domains. You will write task specs, build CAD models, and craft verifiers across up to three stages for a leading AI benchmark project.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering design, hands-on modelling, and Python scripting. Freelance, with up to 40 hours/week and remote work from home supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical, aerospace or electrical design and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with modelling, simulation and design projects.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation, analysis and result processing.

Responsibilities

• Write a task specification for a hard, clearly measurable engineering problem.
• Build a CAD model that meets the specification on your own machine.
• Write verifiers to check whether a design meets the specification.
