Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience with 2D and 3D modeling.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, or Fusion 360.
• Understanding of how design choices interact with various manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Past client experience is a plus, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head Engineer to develop and refine 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Use SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Fusion 360 to create designs across sectors.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and alignment with manufacturing processes.
• Support internal initiatives to refer clients to appropriate manufacturers, including supplier research.
• Prepare design presentations and technical documentation for client projects.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project goals and present design updates.
