Zusammenfassung

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a CAD Design Expert (Instructor) based in the United States for a remote consulting role focused on advanced parametric modelling and complex assemblies. You will model, document, and evaluate design intent with emphasis on tolerancing and manufacturability.

You will also develop instructional content and support distributed teams, with no prior AI training required. Strong mentoring and remote collaboration skills are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• At least five years of professional CAD design experience.
• Experience leading design decisions for complex multi-part assemblies.
• Advanced proficiency in parametric modelling and assembly design.
• Experience with one or more CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion, Onshape or Solid Edge.
• Strong understanding of assembly relationships, mating strategies and design intent.
• Experience with tolerance analysis, tolerance stack-ups and assembly constraints.
• Solid knowledge of Design for Manufacturability principles and production considerations.
• Ability to explain design logic, constraints and trade-offs clearly.
• Experience reviewing, evaluating or critiquing CAD designs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality engineering work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in remote/asynchronous environments.
• Experience teaching or mentoring CAD professionals is an advantage.
• Credentials such as CSWP, Autodesk Certified Instructor, ASME GDTP or SOLIDWORKS Champion are valued.
• Credentials may substitute for some experience.
• No prior AI training or model evaluation experience is necessary.

• Contribute instructional content and mentoring materials for CAD practices.
• Collaborate remotely with distributed project teams and adapt to varying CAD platforms.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional integrity in all assignments.
