Job summary

Delve Underground in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking a CAD Design Technology Specialist II focused on Civil/Structural underground projects. Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, you will prepare documents and coordinate interdisciplinary design for transportation and water conveyance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience using latest releases of Autodesk AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Basic understanding Civil, Structural and Geotechnical design.
• Basic understanding of drawing presentation & organization.
• General knowledge of engineering mathematics and ability to perform basic engineering computations.
• Organization and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to identify data formats and utilize in CAD/BIM context.
• Ability to work with a diverse team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of plans, profiles, elevations, cross-sections, and detail documents from sketches and notes.
• Communicate with regional offices and design teams.
• Ensure QA/QC by following CAD/BIM standards.
• Participate in Design Technology CAD/BIM initiatives.
