Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Automation Engineer to lead installation, configuration, and integration of the CAASM platform in complex client environments. You will design data onboarding, automate deployments, and ensure data quality and security best practices.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD/IC experience, and hands-on work with Windows/Linux/VMware, APIs, and automation. Travel and on‑call rotation may be involved, with a strong focus on secure, reliable asset inventories.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience architecting, implementing, integrating, and managing COTS solutions for hybrid cloud environments.
• 3+ years of experience performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments, including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, monitoring, and security upgrades.
• 3+ years of experience with programming and debugging, shell scripting, application containerization, data storage, and retrieval from various sources.
• 2+ years deploying, hosting, monitoring, and securing solutions for government customers.
• Experience with APIs and data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and correlate asset data with vulnerability feeds, threat intelligence, and security findings from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting and APIs usage for data integration.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree with IT project experience as stated.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M IAT II Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M CSP Infrastructure Certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and integrate CAASM platform in complex client environments.
• Onboard data connections and integrate CAASM with third‑party tools.
• Create deployment scripts and automation processes.
• Analyze cyber datasets to uncover insights and ensure data quality.
• Document production deployments and perform daily maintenance.
• Participate in on‑call production support.
