Qualifications

• 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• California workers compensation jurisdictional knowledge required; SIP knowledge or must be obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workers’ compensation claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimant and client.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions professionally and timely.
