Waymark is seeking a Director of California Operations to lead local teams and oversee patient-facing care. You will drive operational, clinical, and financial performance, mentor managers, and align regional efforts with company goals to improve access and quality of Medicaid services.

You will collaborate with regional and national teams to implement new workflows, partner with providers, and ensure successful contract launches while traveling within the state as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare or health services operations with patient-facing care teams.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience including supervising managers or team leads.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational performance, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of local managers to ensure alignment with state-level operational, clinical, and financial goals.
• Assist local managers with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members to support regional growth and retention goals.
• Own state performance of goals by tracking and reporting on operational performance and translating high-level objectives into actionable plans for local care teams.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to local managers, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
• Oversee day-to-day performance of care teams within the region, ensuring access, coordination, and quality.
• Collaborate with national care support teams to relay regional needs and implement workflows and initiatives.
• Support regional VP, Partnerships and Implementation teams to launch new contracts in the state with partner expectations and timelines.
• Serve as a key contact for local providers and community organizations to develop and strengthen partnerships.
