Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a C++ Quality Assurance Lead for an hourly, remote contractor role. You will oversee quality across AI training projects, review AI-generated C++ code and trainer work, provide precise feedback, and ensure adherence to project rubrics.

You will mentor remote teams, use tools like CMake, GCC/Clang, GDB, and GoogleTest, and document guidelines and style. Selection includes an AI interview and task; future opportunities available through our expert network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong English for guidelines and feedback.
• 3+ years in C++ development, QA, or mentoring.
• Deep knowledge of modern C++ features and memory management.
• Experience with build systems and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring and feedback through direct messages.
• Evaluate AI-generated C++ code, tests, and explanations.
• Communicate review standards on Discord.
• Answer questions on memory safety, compilation, and templates.
• Manage inactive contributors and follow-ups.
• Create C++ style guides and onboarding materials.
• Lead onboarding/training calls on quality standards.
• Flag unsafe or non-production-ready recommendations.
• Identify recurring gaps and improve QA processes.
