Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced C# / ASP.NET Application Engineer to maintain and enhance a web application with a SQL Server backend, SSIS packages, AD integration, and SQL Server Agent jobs. This fully remote role is nationwide within the United States.

Responsibilities include maintaining ASP.NET applications, optimizing queries and performance, deploying SSIS, and ensuring secure coding practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET in MVC/Web API/Web Forms.
• Solid T-SQL and SQL Server administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance ASP.NET applications with SQL Server backend.
• Update and deploy SSIS packages and manage SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Configure Active Directory authentication and IIS settings; troubleshoot issues across UI to database.
