Job summary

Old Republic is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for the Enterprise PMO in a remote, full-time exempt position. The BSA will bridge business stakeholders and technology teams, eliciting and documenting requirements for EPMO projects.

The role involves producing BRDs, use cases, user stories, process maps, and data dictionaries; supporting UAT; and maintaining RTMs. A BA/BS in a tech field and 3 years of SDLC and requirements management experience are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a technology related field.
• Minimum 3 years in business or systems analysis.
• 3 years experience with a structured SDLC (Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
• 3 years experience with industry standard Requirements Management tools.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, analytical, facilitation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Leadership, coaching, mentoring and team building skills.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Elicits, analyzes, and documents business, functional, and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and observation.
• Produces high-quality project artifacts including BRDs, use cases, user stories, process flows, and data dictionaries.
• Translates business needs into clear, actionable system specifications for development and IT teams.
• Supports UAT by developing test scenarios, coordinating stakeholder participation, and tracking defect resolution.
• Maintains requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) and ensures requirements remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborates with project managers, QA analysts, developers, and business owners to support on-time, on-scope delivery.
• Maintains BSA documentation in repositories in accordance with EPMO standards and templates.
• Work with business partners to validate requirements through reviews and walkthroughs.
• Work with project teams and stakeholders to produce the relevant artifacts that are a part of the enterprise methodology.
• Documents current processes and identifies areas for improvement without major disruptions.
• Uses standard tools and techniques like process/data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition to create future-state process models.
• Develop and maintain the following artifacts and deliverables: User Stories, User Flows, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps/Workflows, Functional and Quality of Service (QOS) Requirements, Business Rule Definitions, Data Entities/Transformation Rules, Data Mapping Documents, UAT Plans, Requirements Baselines, Traceability Diagrams and Matrices, and RFIs, RFPs, Business Cases, Scope Documents, etc.
