Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of business litigation experience to support a remote regional team. The role requires a North Carolina or South Carolina bar license and offers opportunities to develop case strategy, research, and litigation materials while collaborating with clients.

Qualifications

2+ years of business litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
A North Carolina or South Carolina bar license.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
An independent, adaptable approach and the confidence to take initiative.
Strong academic credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

Help develop case strategy and advance business and commercial litigation matters.
Research legal issues and prepare persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Support discovery, analyze evidence, and help prepare for depositions and hearings.
Collaborate with colleagues, communicate with clients, and keep assigned matters moving forward.
