Job summary
Ceqel Critical Commissioning is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and market expansion for critical infrastructure and smart technology projects. You will lead estimating, proposal, and preconstruction functions, focusing on hyperscale data centers, utilities, and industrial facilities.
The role involves remote work from anywhere in the United States and up to 75% travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years’ experience in business development, estimating, or preconstruction for critical infrastructure or advanced building technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development & Client Engagement to pursue critical infrastructure and smart technology opportunities.
- Build and lead the estimating team and process from conceptual budgets to detailed bid proposals.
- Direct take-offs, risk assessments, and value engineering to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate pricing strategies with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Manage the creation of compliant, high-quality proposals and track metrics to improve win rates.
- Provide preconstruction support including scope clarification and contract negotiations.
