Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Business Advisor to join the Business Client Advice Centre. You will support business clients via phone and video, assess their needs, and guide them to the right banking solutions. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to deepen client relationships and promote digital banking options.

The role emphasizes client engagement, product recommendations, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure excellent service and growth in business banking.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional, fast-paced sales and service environment, preferably in financial services or a client contact centre.
• Knowledge of business banking products and services and credit risk concepts.
• Ability to engage with clients and colleagues to identify the right solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business clients via phone and video to assess needs and fulfill service requests.
• Assess and recommend products based on cash management, lending and deposits.
• Triage high-value clients to the appropriate relationship team and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Imperial Service partners to deepen relationships.
