Job summary

CLEAResult seeks a Building Science Analyst to act as technical expert on energy programs, performing desktop verifications and guidance to trade allies using building rating and energy modeling tools. You will train participants and ensure adherence to standards across markets while representing the organization in technical forums.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, a Building Science degree (or related program), and BA-P certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience (HVAC, electrical, residential construction, building maintenance, general contracting)
• Bachelor's in Building Science or related program preferred
• Strong knowledge of building science and applications required
• BA-P certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
• Excellent communication, organizational, mathematical and documentation skills
• High school diploma
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Knowledge of Energy Star, AHRI, BPI Standards and NREL standards a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure program designs reflect installation guidelines and minimums for measures in applicable markets
• Develop training materials and conduct trainings for internal and external participants
• Serve as technical spokesperson; approve communications to partner programs and clients
• Deliver trade ally training
• Understand evaluation risks and communicate strategies
• QC complex measure and modeling runs
• Develop protocols for interpretation of specifications and manuals
• Provide building science adjustments to measures from contractors
• Ensure program designs reflect guidelines
• Serve as technical spokesperson to customers and contractors
• Deliver trade ally guidance and training
• Evaluate and document project risks
• Develop protocols for interpretation of specifications and requirements
• Review documents for technical accuracy and sound building science practices
• Attend program meetings and training courses
• Adapt to changing work environment
• Time and schedule management are a MUST
