Job summary

Space Systems Command in El Segundo, California is seeking a Budget and Reconciliation Analyst to support the Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio. The role involves embedding with development programs to shape financial execution across unclassified and classified programs.

You will lead day-to-day financial tasks, leverage data for senior decision makers, and help secure additional program funding while navigating DoD policies and funding rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or similar field.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Experience navigating DoD funding regulations and processes.
• Ability to collaborate with program managers and budget teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial tasks across Space development programs.
• Build and execute financial strategies for multiple programs and appropriations.
• Coordinate with HHQ and external stakeholders for funding actions.
• Support preparation of budgets, submissions and associated analyses.
