Job summary

A leading defense contractor located in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Budget & Acquisition Analyst to support the Space Systems Command. The successful candidate will provide acquisition and strategic planning support, analyze and advise on various phases of the planning process, and develop strategic messaging for stakeholders. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a TS/SCI clearance and possess at least 20 years of relevant experience, along with strong communication and analytical skills. Salary range is competitive, between $220k and $290k.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance, SAP-eligible.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in DoD or comparable acquisition environments.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior leaders in high-visibility environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic messaging and communication products for stakeholders.
• Analyze and advise on planning, programming, budgeting, and execution.
• Manage information requests and facilitate coordination with stakeholders.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of DoD contracting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical judgment

Ability to operate independently
