Job summary

The National Park Service is seeking a Budget Analyst for the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, Administration Division. You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and shift work.

Responsibilities include developing, preparing, and revising the unit budget, providing data to managers for funding estimates, assisting with current year budget execution, and preparing routine and special reports on budget execution.

Qualifications

• Develop, prepare, and revise unit budgets and funding estimates.
• Provide data to program managers for budget planning.
• Analyze budget execution and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, preparation, and revision of the unit budget.
• Prepare instructions to managers regarding funding estimates and budget planning.
• Provide data and assistance to program managers in budget and program planning.
• Assist with execution of the current year budget and allotments.
• Tabulate cost data and apply basic budget analysis to illustrate funding effects.
